Sauted Broccoli Cauli Flower and Baby Corn

A beautiful lazy weekend at home, it’s a perfect time to cook something really easy. Something like… piece of cake!
Happy weekend cooking time~

Ingredients:

  1. Broccoli 250 gr
  2. Cauli Flower 250 gr
  3. Baby Corn 250 gr
  4. Garlic 9 cloves
  5. Salt
  6. Pepper
  7. Sugar
  8. Corriander powder
  9. Oil for suteing

    How to cook:

    1. Seperate the branch and the flower of broccoli and cauli flower
    2. Slice the baby corn diagonally
    3. Steam the broccoli, cauli flower and the baby corn for 10 minutes
    4. While waiting for the steamed vegetables, you can chop the garlic until it becomes minced
    5. Take the steamed vegetables if it is done
    6. Heaten about 2 tablespoon of oil
    7. Saute the garlic until you can smell the aroma
    8. Add the steamed vegetables, stir it
    9. Add a few salt, pepper, corriander powder and sugar, stir
    10. Saute for about 5 minutes
    11. Taste it, if it is already tasty enough you can serve it

    It’s simple isn’t? The duration of cooking it is also quick. I have just cooked this menu for my breakfast and my husband liked it so much.

    You can add shrimp if you like it. This morning I ate it with omellete because broccoli is best eaten with egg and milk 😉

    Bening Daun Katuk

    Cocok banget ini buat ibu-ibu yang baru bersalin arau ibu yang masih menyusui sebagai ASI booster. Buat menu sekeluarga juga cocok. Suami saya aja suka 😉

    Bahan:

    1. Udang kupas, cuci bersih 250 gr
    2. Daun katuk cuci bersih, tiriskan 
    3. Jagung manis 2 buah, dipipil atu diserut bulirnya
    4. Bawang merah 7 siung
    5. Bawang putih 5 siung
    6. Ketumbar secukupnya
    7. Merica secukupnya
    8. Garam
    9. Minyak goreng untuk menumis
    10. Air 750ml-1l

    Cara Memasak:

    1. Kupas bawang merah dan putih lalu iris-iris tipis
    2. Tuangkan 2 sdm minyak goreng ke wajan teflon lalu tumis bawang merah dan bawang putih
    3. Jika sudah harum, masukkan udang kupas lalu masukkan jagung pipil, aduk-aduk
    4. Saat jagung mulai matang, masukkan daun katuk
    5. Beri ketumbar dan merica sesuai selera dan garam secukupnya, aduk rata
    6. Saat daun katuk sudah mulai layu, tuangkan air, didihkan hingga 10 menit
    7. Silakan dicicipi apa udah pas rasanya, jika belum pas bisa ditambahkan bumbunya
    8. Jika sudah pas rasanya, sayur bening daun katuk siap disajikan

    Sarapan saya dengan sate nyuh (sate kelapa) khas Bali dan sup bening daun katuk. Maaf sate nyuhnya nggak termasuk dalam resep hehe.

    Menu Makanan Spesial Kalkiboy Kemarin (Minggu)

    I’m trying it hard to cook my little boy’s meal here, why? Due to I caught a cold! I got my nose runs and a bit cough :s

    Tepatnya aku sedang terkena virus flu, nih! Dan aku berharap sistem imun tubuhku masih bisa bekerja dengan baik untuk melawan invasi influenza (ง’̀⌣’́)ง (˘ʃƪ˘) …

    Well, however, I’m still trying n’ trying to cook n’ serve a homemade baby food for Kiboy. Because I know he keeps needing my love companion in many manifested ways :).

    I love cooking a meal for my son. yesterday I boiled a few “ceker ayam”, so I could get the stock. And then I steamed a chicken breast, so Kalki got the meat a little bit for his rice porridge. I always cooked the rice with water/stock in a pot different from the meat n’ the vegetables, so I could serve the one dish of combination porridge with the meat and veggie ’til eve.

    Veggie: green leaves or root family like carrot, etc. Yesterday I used a fruit-like veggie. I steamed it, and then I pressed the steamed veggie on the “saringan kawat” 😀

    Meat: chicken breast. I steamed the chicken breast after I blanched it for a moment first, so I didn’t need to wash the meat under the water (meat shouldn’t be washed by water). And then the blanching water I poured to doggies food stock, while the chicken meat I would use as Kiboy’s meal, I steamed it about 30 mins or it looks well-cooked, ’til the essence of chicken re juice a bit on the bowl inside the steamer. The chicken essence is looked like an oil and water, I used it too for the porridge so it would be tasty (ˆڡˆ) yum yum!

    This is the look of the Kalki’s lunch: white rice porridge combined with steamed veggie “manisa” or “jukut jipang”, shredded chicken meat (breast) and a ‘lil bit of chicken stock.

    Ρ.S. That is an oven on the background, and I haven’t made a baby biscuit yet!!! Once I’d tried making a cracker, yeah “Tempe” crackers! And it was fine actually, but Kalki didn’t wanna eat it, so… You know.

    And the.. Because I caught a cold I wore my nose n’ mouth masker and not forgetting my Minnie Mouse apron too 🙂 😉
